To the lonely sea and the skyin the dim of twilight
I feel immortal

stardust and sun drenched
torsos

watercolor pain

like the desert misses the rain

I remember you:
a sky of smog
coasting on thin ice,
limbs tangled
around the
sextile sun and uranus

bones

dust

insomnia on the silvermoon

but I am the wayward child
and there's a hole in my soul,
so please show me

show me what the stars look like tonight.

SenescenceBefore the rain,
all the leaves are brown.

Here's to green memories -
but the tree that loves its leaves
will never know the art of aging.

You found love in our yellow room,
but winter's holding my hand;
it won't be long.

When somebody says your name for the last time,
they gently take your life.

I should write this down.holy shit I should write this down -

she dares and she is tempting. I admit,
enclosed worlds don't appeal to me.
I am embers on the highway.
I'll forge myself into something greater.
The harvest suits me not, so forth I'll go;
judge me not.

Show me how the sun rises.
Even in the dead of winter,
I am scorched like the Earth from the inside-out.
The heat of this nameless, godless desert is trapped within my wounds.

Follow the shuffling feet,
the bloodied shapes
like patchwork hope sewn together from someone else's sacrifice.
Unmistakable, undeniable, guilty;
but the answer will have escaped you.
With the perfect clarity of ragged eyes
all become

WishesSo many people wish upon stars.
How many secrets do they hold?
Oh, it must be over a million,
Over a billion.
Trillions at least.
I can't even imagine how many there must be.
Not one person hasn't tried it.
Great, dark skies with tiny, twinkling lights.

Stars are trusted by people.
They never tell your secrets.
And they always listen.
Rise of the sun, the disappear.
Set of the sun, they are back to hear.

What is Hallowed and CommonI don't know if I believe in love
But I sure as hell hope it doesn't find me.
I've got too much going on to worry about that.
Hell, I don't even want it.

I think.

I see all these other people moaning and groaning about it
Because they haven't found anyone yet.
They use that word for it? "Found"?
What, is it something you just stumble across without meaning to?

If that's it, love sounds pretty damn inconvenient.
I mean, you're not prepared for it.
You don't know exactly what to do with it,
the first time.

And things like that mess up everything.

Those star-eyed idiots say it isn't so.
That it's supposed to be unexpected.
Well, so is a mug

In this dream I can find perfection
Laying in my fields of flowers with only sunshine and scent of roses
Reading of love long ago
Authors creating worlds I dream to visit
Lives I wish to lead
Romance I ache to live
I want to find magic

But...

Ah, this is only in dreams

FrustrationPen flies on paper
Distorted words in crumbled paper
Fallen to the floor
A breathe escapes
Somber moment...

Catch me...

Single tear wills itself downward
Fingers race to pen
Tormented paper takes the wrath of words
Scribbled words jumble themselves onto white paper

Too fast...

Eyes stare at white
Words echoing on the walls
Tired eyes close
Reopen to more tears

Confusion takes hold...

BewitchedWhisper to me your cravings
Wish for me and I will be there
Form the words that can only be for my soul
Capture my mouth in euphoria
Show me how you lust for my body
Torment my mind with your kiss
Devour my soul with your heart
Keep me tethered to your passion
Encompass my battered soul, let me forget
Your appetite for desire matches mine
Enslave me for always into this realm
Shackle me to this ecstasy
The heat in your kiss sends fire to my soul
Awaken again...I am transported to bliss

Write of meTake me into your realm of words and poetry
Can you capture my soul in your sonnets
Take me on a journey were only I exist for you
Wrap me in an adventure I can hide away from
Keep me at the top of your guarded castle

How will you write of me...

Will I sit at the top of a cliff with only you on my lips
To journey to the center of the earth to simply enjoy your kiss
Will I be beautiful in your eyes or everyone's

How will you write of me...

Can I be your magical wish that only you can see
Will I be the only one to ever touch your skin
Can you be tamed only by my kiss

DrivenI am falling within myself again
Running I try to cleanse my rage
Desperate to drawn out the words in my head
Tears burning back into my mind
Keeping close to sanity I try to find my safe zone
Biting one's tongue has become an art form for me
Making the world afraid of me was my protection from love
Broken apart I have no spare parts to reassemble my mind
Nothing left for me now to show
How fake the world can become when you look really hard
Naked I have become to the world
A transparency of mind and body
Feelings I will never succumb to
How do you dream of roses, when all I see is the thorns....
